THE Association of Fleet Professionals (AFP) has unveiled the date for its highly anticipated 2025 annual conference: Wednesday, 7th May. This year’s event, themed around the “growing profile of the fleet manager,” will once again convene at the prestigious British Motor Museum in Gaydon.

Expected to draw approximately 250 AFP members, the conference, backed by headline sponsors Enterprise Mobility and Ayvens, promises a comprehensive agenda addressing the dynamic landscape of fleet management.

Attendees can anticipate a day packed with insightful sessions, featuring expert speakers and panel discussions tackling critical areas such as fleet compliance, driving change, data-driven decision-making, and the evolving legislative landscape. The conference will also delve into the future of fleet roles, providing valuable foresight for industry practitioners.

A key highlight of the event will be a keynote address from the Office for Zero Emissions Vehicles, offering crucial updates on the government’s initiatives. Additionally, the AFP Academy awards ceremony will celebrate the achievements of members who have attained industry accreditations over the past year.

Paul Hollick, Chair of the AFP, emphasised the significance of the conference, stating:

“This is our fourth conference since the merger of ACFO and the ICFM, and the event has become widely recognised as one of the highlights of the fleet industry calendar, tackling the issues of the moment in an informed and practical manner.”

He further added, “This year we’re aiming to make the conference better than ever. Crucially, we’ll be recognising the increasing role of the fleet manager at this unprecedented moment of change for vehicle operators, showing how our members play an essential position in some of the most important aspects of corporate life.”
