BRIDLE Group’s sales director, Alan Carreras, has departed the company, according to an announcement by Hanborough Enterprises Ltd, owners of the Bridle business.
Paying tribute to Alan, chairman Stewart Donald said:
We are hugely grateful to Alan for his commitment to the business over the past 12 years and the significant achievement during his tenure in growing the business from a small brokerage just outside Witney to one of the largest independent vehicle brokers with locations throughout the UK. We wish him every success in the future.
During his time at Bridle, Alan became chair of the BVRLA Leasing Broker Committee from 2019-2021 and hosted the first BVRLA Leasing Broker Conference.
Neil Fox moves to CEO
At the same time as announcing the departure of Carreras, Hanborough also announced the promotion of Neil Fox from his current position as director of risk and strategy to the role of chief executive.
Commenting on his appointment, Neil said:
As an industry we’ve experienced the most challenging trading conditions and like many within our industry we have taken stock of the situation and carefully considered our plans for the next few years. We’re now ready to continue with our organic growth plans internally within the Bridle Group of companies, through future acquisition and the expansion of our hugely successful franchise programme. We have some very exciting times ahead and I relish the challenge of leading this great company into the next phase.
