CONGRATULATIONS to Alphabet on successfully hosting its first dual Business Partnership Programme (BPP) and Partner Forum event earlier this month.

Hosted by the business mobility provider in Worcester, the event attracted 140 delegates from across Alphabet’s retailer and broker estate.

Richard Chadwick, Head of Indirect Sales (above) and Louise L’Estrange, Dealer Networks Manager, opened the event to present Alphabet’s renewed vision and business proposition amid the rapidly changing economic climate. Richard will be hosting a panel discussion on customer expectations at October’s BVRLA Leasing Broker Conference.

Caroline Sandall-Mansergh, Alphabet’s Consultancy and Channel Development Manager, presented on the state of the nation – from an automotive perspective – providing insight into government funding and regulatory updates to help retailers and brokers navigate the terrain and potential roadblocks ahead.

The event also provided an opportunity for Alphabet to thank retailers and brokers for their support, which has seen an increase in customer satisfaction and volume through BMW for Business (Business Partnership Programme) and Alphabet’s Partner programme over the past 14 months.

Among the busy content schedule and networking opportunities, there were also guest presentations from AI fleet analytics manager, RavenWare, and Fleet Procure on its cloud-based StockManager vehicle procurement system, which has been adopted by Alphabet to streamline the stock and ordering process.

“This is our first Alphabet event we’ve attended, and I can honestly say that it exceeded our expectations. It provided a good insight in terms of what’s happening in the future and, more importantly, how both sides of the business work.”

The re-launch of Alphabet’s Partner proposition and balance scorecard has generated plenty of interest, it says. Since 2024, the channel has gone onto register a record-breaking year, borne out of the core partnership principles of exclusivity, service and brand credibility.

Greater Manchester-based Leasing Options exemplifies the success of Alphabet’s Partner programme, winning the 2025 Spirit of Partnership Award during the partner segment.

Presenting Leasing Options CEO Mike Thompson with an award (above), Paul Harkins, Head of Broker Partnerships at Alphabet (GB), praised the credit broker for being a great partner following its exceptional performance and engagement.

Leasing Options achieved the highest position on Alphabet’s balanced scorecard, which evaluates partners against several key metrics, including shared values to ensure good customer outcomes and business performance.

Speaking after the event, Richard Chadwick said: “It was great to have retailers and brokers in the same room for some of the day, as there are some common elements across both channels. The feedback has been very positive.

“While the customer touchpoint differs across our stakeholder group, we have one shared goal of delivering the best outcome for the customer, which was reflected throughout the day.”
