JAGUAR Land Rover has appointed Andrew Jago as its new UK general manager for fleet and business.

Jago has gained extensive experience abroad. Recently he was based in Germany, as a sales director of the Europe importer region.

He said: “As the UK’s largest automotive manufacturer, Jaguar Land Rover is ideally positioned to service the needs of fleet and business customers in the premium market. We continue to invest in new models, technologies and services at an unprecedented level, with a fleet and business team working tirelessly to become trusted advisers to our customers.

“Compliance and legislation will continue to influence decision makers and we have an important role to play in ensuring that our customers understand the implications of any changes. JLR is well placed to adapt by leveraging our expertise in the areas of lightweight aluminium construction and propulsion technology.”

Having joined JLR in 2012, he has also held management positions in North America and in global product marketing. Prior to joining JLR, Andrew worked in sales and marketing roles for Toyota (GB) and Toyota Motor Corporation in Japan, after starting his automotive career at a Ford retailer in Wiltshire.
