CONGRATULATIONS to Andy Alderson, CEO and founder of van leasing broker specialist Vanarama, who has been named Tech Entrepreneur of the Year by Go:Tech, run by Business Leader the platform for entrepreneurs.
At an awards event last night in Ashton Gate, Bristol, Andy was presented with the award.
He beat off eight other finalists to take the title:

An absolute honour to be recognised as Tech Entrepreneur of the Year at the Business Leader Go:Tech awards last night.
In my case, the award should really be re-badged as Team Of The Year, in recognition of the brilliant people at Vanarama who continue to push the boundaries and collect accolades, despite dealing with the most complex and fluid trading conditions our sector has ever faced.
I’m inspired every day by the pure grit and determination of our people, to change the way customers buy vehicles online for the better, as we continually advance our digital storefront and our scalability for our dealer, leaseco and manufacturer partners, through market leading technology.
The broker’s tech position was one of the reasons Auto Trader gave for its £200m valuation acquisition of the Vanarama brand in late March this year.
