THE Automotive Software Solutions business, founded by Tim Hudson and Sarah Eaton, has acquired a majority share in Clear Vehicle Data.
The sum paid for Clear Vehicle Data was not disclosed, but Eaton confirmed that CEO Ian Hare “remained very much involved”.
The acquisition provides access to Clear Vehicle Data’s data services, websites and apps for many of the automotive industries biggest brands, including the leasing broker sector.
Services for leasing brokers include new vehicle data for vehicle configurations, options and colours at correct prices. Plus technical and performance data, options, prices and images.
On the majority share acquisition, Hare commented:
