AN exciting new project between van leasing broker Vanaways and Toolstation – the leading trade and DIY retailer – is being delivered by digital agency FIRE5 digital via its Automotus platform.
The partnership will see Toolstation’s trade and retail customers offered access to van leasing and finance deals through a dedicated website built by Automotus at toolstation.vanaways.co.uk.
Our partnership with Vanaways provides customers with access to a wide selection of vans in various sizes and models and is part of our increased effort to support tradespeople. The new range is a welcome expansion to our offer of tools and more for any task, and we look forward to helping tradespeople find their ideal vehicle.
Lucy Trevelyan, assistant category manager, Toolstation
The arrangement sees Vanaways’ services marketed directly through Toolstation’s web presence, online to registered customers, and at the retailer’s network of more than 550 stores nationwide.
Bringing our two brands together makes perfect sense. Toolstation’s customers are exactly the type of people who will benefit most from the quick, simple and hassle-free deals we can offer to get their businesses on the road to success.
Chris Jakeways, managing director, Vanaways
Vanaways has set up a special team at its Bristol head office to deal with Toolstation customers from point of enquiry through to delivery and onto vehicle in-life. It is being led by brand manager Robert Clements – formerly with Bridle brands Go Green Leasing and Fulton Leasing – who joined the company specifically to spearhead the Toolstation partnership.
The new partnership offers quick van delivery to customer premises as well as part-exchanges. Vanaways said it also had an agreement with Mobilize Financial Services to offer tailor-made commercial vehicle finance packages.
Chris and the Vanaways team provided a clear brief of what they needed to achieve, which made delivery of the project straightforward. We are looking forward to working with the team next year as their partnership grows and no doubt brings success.

Vanaways also trades as BVRLA registered leasing broker Van Sales UK.
Automotus, a digital agency FIRE5 platform, is a partner of Broker News.
