About the winner
Based in Bristol, Vanaways offers new vans with a focus on customer satisfaction. Its mission is to change the way consumers acquire vans and fund assets, making it ‘simple, convenient, on time and at the best possible price’.
Why did Vanaways win best commercial vehicle broker?
The commercial vehicle category was tightly contested, with Vanaways just edging the award. The panel summarised the win saying:
‘Strong business – super customer comments and the whole holistic product line up is great. Vanaways has exploded in size over the past few years. It has an impressive office covering two floors with different teams dealing with all aspects of commercial vehicle acquisition.’
Impressive growth
The judges were struck by Vanaways’ strong growth in profitability and its workforce, especially at a time of widespread industry challenges. The panel commented on its ‘strong commitment to growth in the van sector and impressive numbers.’
Customer focused solution
Vanaways was commended for meeting the needs of the customer by ‘investing in a broad product portfolio rather than sticking to a funding solution’. The business provides a ‘one stop shop’ for its customers – offering vehicle supply, procurement, and logistics as well as extensive aftersales services.
Exceptional service
The focus by Vanaways on providing exceptional customer service is clearly paying dividends. The panel noted its excellent customer scores across Google and Feefo, as well as strong verbatim reviews, including:
‘Extremely efficient and a welcome change from our annual dealings with main dealers.’
Commenting on the award, Chris Jakeways said:
“We are incredibly honoured to receive the award for Best Commercial Vehicle Broker. This recognition is a testament to our commitment towards excellence and customer satisfaction in a highly competitive industry. Being acknowledged amongst such esteemed competitors highlights our dedication to innovation, quality, and service, reinforcing our position as a trusted leader within our sector.
