THE Broker News Awards 2024 open for entry next week. The entry window will be open for two weeks and, just like 2023, there will be no deadline extensions. As a reminder, the awards are open to all BVRLA-accredited brokers and are judged by an independent panel.

How do I enter?

Entry is quick and easy via our online form. Weve improved the design and process from last year and you can save your entry and complete it later if needed

So, what do I need to do this week? Here's our top tips

  1. Work out which categories you want to enter:

There are 11 awards open to entry and brokers can enter a maximum of two categories, as well as nominating a rising star:

  • Best AR
  • Best Small Broker (up to 1000 units per year)
  • Best Mid-Size broker (1000-5000 units per year
  • Best Volume Broker (5000+ units per year)
  • Best Customer Service Broker
  • Best Commercial Vehicle Broker
  • Best EV Broker
  • Best SME Broker
  • Best Innovation in Broking
  • Rising Star of the Year
  • Funder of the Year – voted by brokers
  1. Gather three quotes from your customers. You can use existing recent testimonials or seek new ones, quality versus quantity – these do not need to be lengthy!
  2. Start preparing your answers to the open questions. Answers are capped at a maximum of 250 words and the questions are:
  • Why should you / your nominee win this award?
  • What makes you / your nominee stand out from the competition?
  • What has been your / your nominee’s biggest achievement in the last 12 months?
  • What has your business doing or planning around ESG to reduce your impact?

What are the judges looking for?

A clear explanation of what you do

Differentiation from competitors

Evidence of excellent customer relationships

Consistent professionalism

Employee focus & engagement
