Winner: Greenfleets
Category Winner:
Best Small Broker
About the winner:
Founded in 2008 by Stephen Greenstreet, Hertfordshire-based Greenfleets delivers flexible vehicle leasing solutions across the UK for businesses and personal customers. The company also leads the charge in sustainable motoring, offering a range of low-emission and electric vehicle options.
Why did Greenfleets win Best Small Broker?
The decision on the winner of the Best Small Broker category was incredibly close and had to go to the panel chair for a final decision. However, Greenfleets edged the field for the third successive year!
Greenfleets was commended across a number of areas:
Experience and expertise
The panel commented that, as a mature business, Greenfleets ‘knows what it is and does it well’ which is a focus on a quality, consultative-led approach.
The company has been built on high levels of customer service and support, with all six employees having many years of business leasing experience. Greenfleets’ approach is to provide the right vehicle for the job, not just the cheapest vehicle.
Customer retention
Greenfleets stood out for its impressive renewal rates and maintenance penetration – both stand at over 90 per cent. One judge commented:
‘Overall an impressive and clearly dedicated business. A particular stand-out for me is the level of maintenance penetration and renewal.’
The supplied customer testimonials were also impressive, including this example:
“We have used many leasing companies and brokers over the last 20 years of being in business but none of them has delivered on the customer service like Greenfleets has.”
Clear ESG strategy
Given the size of Greenfleets, its clear ESG strategy was noted as being particularly impressive. As an example, as part of its environmental goals, 100% of its in-house company cars have been switched to electric vehicles (EVs) in the last 18 months. The business also ensures employees have access to home charging.
The panel were also impressed with how closely Greenfleets works with the local community – it provides support through events, sponsorships, and charity work.

What the winner said:
“I am very proud that this year marked a hat trick for us, having won the Best Small Broker award for the last three years. This recognition holds significant value for us, and I extend my gratitude to the entire team at Greenfleets for their unwavering dedication to our company and their exceptional service to our customers. Being acknowledged by a panel of industry-leading judges is truly an honour.”
