HOW exciting! Less than two weeks away and the shortlisted finalists for the 2026 edition of the Broker News Awards are ready to be announced.

Congratulations to all those leasing brokers and companies that are finalists, and commiserations to those that didn’t quite make the list this time.

The judging process

The judges have been through all the submissions for the 2026 awards, which have been of a high standard.

Having awarded points to each entry, the totals were then added to arrive at the shortlist of finalists.

David Brennan, new Chair of the judging panel for the Broker News AwardsThe judging process and results were then sent to the Chair of the Judges, David Brennan (pictured left), for ratification. In the event of a tie, the Chair adjudicated on the decision having reviewed the submissions.

The Best Volume Category was particularly strong on entries and very close on points – which is the reason we have listed six finalists in this category.

How can I attend the Broker News Awards 2026?

The Broker News Awards take place at a new venue – the Coq d’Argent in the City of London. It allows us to accommodate up to 95 guests and features (weather willing) a fabulous terrace overlooking the City for our champagne reception supported by Arval.

You will be treated to a three-course meal with two excellent wines to compliment the food, all supported by Automotus, as we gear up to celebrate the best in the leasing broker industry and the unveiling of our Broker of the Year, presented by our Headline Partner BYD.

To attend the awards go here to book your place.

Who were the judges for the Broker News Awards 2026?

The 12 judges come from across the broker sector and the automotive industry and were asked to judge the entries on what was presented in front of them, rather than what they knew about the companies entering the category.

“My thanks to all the judges who gave up their time to review the entries; and my thanks to all the entrants who took the time to present their businesses in such a professional and informative manner.”
