WE’RE back with the Broker News Awards for a second year! The awards are designed to recognise excellence in the leasing broker sector. Here’s all the information you need, including key dates for your diary.

When and where are the awards?

The Broker News Awards 2024 take place on Thursday the 25 April over lunch and we’re returning to the wonderful Orrery restaurant in London. If the date is not already in your diary, please put it in now! You’ll be able to book your place through our website next week – spaces are limited.

Who can enter?

The awards are open to all BVRLA-accredited brokers.

When does entry open?

The awards entry window is open for two weeks from the 04 to the 15 March. As last year there will be no deadline extensions. This allows us to get the judging wrapped up and announce the shortlist after Easter.

What are the categories?

There are 11 awards open for entry in 2024:

  • Best Appointed Representative (AR)
  • Best small broker (up to 1000 units per year)
  • Best mid-size broker (1000-5000 units per year)
  • Best volume broker (5000+ units per year)
  • Best customer service
  • Best commercial vehicle broker
  • Best EV broker

How do I enter?

The process is similar to last year. A simple online entry form with four long-form answers capped at 250 words plus the opportunity to include up to three quotes from customers. Each company can enter a maximum of two categories plus the Rising Star Award.

How are the awards judged?

An independent panel of judges will review the entries and decide the winners – all overseen by panel chair, Jane Pocock. We’ll be revealing the full judging panel shortly.

How do I keep up-to-date with the awards?

We’ll be communicating regular updates via the weekly newsletter, the Broker News LinkedIn page and Broker News X– so if you’re not following us yet, now is the time!
