Positive broker outlook for 2026

As BVRLA CEO Toby Poston says in his intro to the latest report, the UK economy is stuck in limbo, somewhere between crisis and recovery. Against this backdrop it’s easy to be pessimistic. And you can understand leaseco darkness with their exposure to volatile RVs on electric vehicles.

But it isn’t all repressed Scandinavian noir: leasing brokers take a positive attitude to the year ahead, particularly around SME fleet performance, an expected uptick in PCH business, and the benefits of new market entrants.
