Rod Hallworth
FLEET Alliance is saddened to announce the sudden death of Rod Hallworth, managing director of long-established and hugely respected broker Anthony K.
Anthony K had recently become an Appointed Representative of Fleet Alliance, cementing a close relationship that stretched back over 20 years of trading as a Fleet Alliance Partner. With founder Tony Nugent stepping back from the day-to-day running of the business, Rod had moved Anthony K back to its original Middleton in Manchester office and was relishing the prospect of taking the brokerage forward in its new guise.
“All of us here at Fleet Alliance are shocked by the untimely passing of Rod Hallworth,” said Martin Brown, chair of Fleet Alliance.
“Rod and Anthony K have always enjoyed a close working relationship with us. In fact Rod was one of my first recruits to join Fleet Alliance, having worked with our co-founder Allen Flynn at Swan National. Rod’s friendly and characterful presence is a loss to us all and we shall miss him enormously.
“To his wife Michelle, business partner Tony Nugent, and the rest of the Anthony K staff, we send our sincere condolences.”
A private funeral will be arranged in due course.
