Leasing sector forecast to grow
LOOKING at the sales figures of most leasing brokers I’ve spoken with, news that the sector is heading for growth of 3% by end Q2 2022 probably comes as no surprise (BVRLA fleet forecast).
Broker order banks are stuffed full – it’s the actual vehicle delivery issue that remains the uncomfortable sticking point.
But with renewed awareness of environmental choices post the COP26 climate conference, and a taxation structure that encourages businesses to offer electric vehicles, either through company car programmes or salary sacrifice schemes, the voracious appetite for electric vehicles is certain to continue. And leasing brokers are in the frontline to satisfy that rising demand.
