2022 Looks Like A Bumpy Ride
IT’S quite a thing when Leasing.com reports that pure electric car enquiries rose 83% during Q3 versus Q2, and yet Suzuki is having to import part-built cars.
According to AM Online, the Suzuki importer is final-assembling 4000 vehicles at Bristol docks with items sourced in the UK. More disturbingly, Suzuki’s Dale Wyatt reckons we’ll have to look to Q4 2022 before supply starts to recover.
It’s digging deep this semiconductor issue.
Vans are in short supply, discounts are being removed, wait times are getting longer and payouts even further off. It looks like 2022 is going to be a tricksy old ride.
