Last week we heard how the Chery group was focusing on leasing brokers as the engine of its substantial growth; this week Guy Pigounakis explains how MG is re-engaging with leasing brokers to grow the brand as it introduces a variety of new products, focusing on the fleet sector.
What does this mean to leasing brokers? A substantial uptick in activity. One large leasing broker I visited recently said they were already predicting an almost 20% increase in sales over 2025. It’s certainly going to make next year’s BN25 league table interesting reading. Talking of which, a date for your diary: 04 February 2027 for the next BN25 event. But before that, we have the Broker News Awards 2026 on 23 April. I’m really looking forward to seeing you all to celebrate the best in the business.

MG is aiming for 6,000 sales through the Broker channel in 2026, says Pigounakis
