The Supreme Court ruling on commission disclosures is due this Friday (01 August 2025). Its potential ramifications are significant, not just for leasing brokers and car finance brokers, but across the whole geography of consumer lending. This may explain why the Chancellor is reported to be prepared to step in if the Supreme Court upholds the ruling – see article in the Guardian. It’s potentially high impact. But I’m convinced leasing brokers will be able to meet any challenge.
