Synergy made Broker News Awards history this year by winning four categories – Broker of the Year, Best Mid-Size Broker and Best Customer Service. Plus, Sales Account Manager Ellie Tucker took home the Rising Star Award. Success across so many categories meant that they just clinched the Broker of the Year title.

Synergy stood out in this category for its customer focused approach, commitment to its people and ESG focus. The panel commented:
‘Synergy continues to grow under the new leadership of Will Voisey, the team are very close and work together for a common goal. Synergy’s excellence in customer service continues and they are pushing further and aiming for the 3 star Best Companies accreditation!
A strong salary sacrifice proposition adds to its portfolio plus ESG and mental health of its staff are also at the forefront of this excellent business.’
Commitment to ESG – Synergy’s submission demonstrated the business’ focus on ESG. It launched and published its first ESG Strategy at the end of 2024, making key social and environmental commitments to improve the business with specific targets over a three-year period.
People focus – The panel commended Synergy’s investment in people, its ongoing training programme and People Forum as well as the importance placed on the mental wellbeing of its staff.

Why did Synergy win Best Customer Service Broker?
Synergy showcased a true focus on best-in-class customer service demonstrated through excellent feedback. The panel said:
‘The whole business is focused on customer service and providing a consultative approach for its customers. The feedback is excellent across the board, both from consumers and B2B customers.’
The business showcased impressive customer service scores across a range of industry measurements, including:
- Feefo – Synergy received the 10 Year of Feefo Excellence in 2024 and its sixth consecutive Feefo Platinum Award in Jan 2025
- Net promoter score of 94 in 2024 -classed as ‘world class’
- Trustpilot – a Trustscore of 4.8 and almost 500 reviews
