LEASING broker platform specialist, MotorComplete, has launched a new API integration with Lex Autolease to enable the integration of used EVs from the broker funder to MotorComplete’s broker websites.
According to MotorComplete, the integration enables the supply of the vehicle pricing, details and images, as well as the back office tools to be able to reserve and lease the EVs.
The initial integration was completed at CarLease UK which is now fully live following several months of development.
Director of MotorComplete, Anthony Flack, said he had received significant interest from other Lex Autolease brokers to participate in “what looks like a great opportunity in a growing market”.

Used car leasing is a growing area in the leasing broker market. According to the BVRLA in its January 2025 Leasing Outlook report: “Volumes remain modest, but the investment by leasing firms in this area indicates that numbers will rise sharply as more EVs reach the end of their first contracts.”
Used cars added 1.37% of new cars to the BVRLA fleet. In total there are over 12,000 used EVs on the fleet.
