• ALD’s Former Head of Broker Sales to drive growth and spearhead Carmmunity+ launch
  • No word on what happens to outgoing Sales Director Hamel Patel

AUTOMOTIVE platform provider Carmmunity has announced the appointment of Dave McLaughlin as its new Sales Director. McLaughlin, who brings extensive experience from his previous role at ALD, will be responsible for driving Carmmunity’s sales strategy and overseeing the launch of its highly anticipated Carmmunity+ platform.

McLaughlin’s appointment comes as Carmmunity seeks to strengthen its position in the rapidly evolving automotive market. His deep understanding of the broker, funder, and OEM landscape is expected to be instrumental in forging new partnerships and expanding the company’s reach, according to a Carmmunity statement.

"I'm incredibly excited to join Carmmunity at this pivotal time. The company's commitment to innovation and its strong track record of delivering value to its partners aligns perfectly with my own vision. I'm particularly eager to contribute to the successful rollout of Carmmunity+, which promises to revolutionise how the industry operates."

Outgoing Sales Director Hamel Patel, who will be working closely with McLaughlin to ensure a smooth transition, expressed confidence in his successor.

“Dave’s industry knowledge and established relationships make him the ideal candidate to lead our sales efforts,” said Patel. “We’re delighted to welcome him to the team and look forward to his contributions to Carmmunity’s continued success.”

As yet, there is no news of whether Hamel intends to stay with Carmmunity in a new role, or leave the company for a position elsewhere.
