CONGRATULATIONS to all at Central Contracts for recently celebrating 25 years in business.

Starting with a Ford Mondeo – the company’s first contract in 1988 – to the leasing powerhouse it is today, Central Contracts has been at the forefront of web development to embrace its provision of  high level services to customers.

“Over the past 25 years, Central Contracts has become a trusted name in the car leasing industry, and we are proud to celebrate this milestone,” said managing director Mike Lloyd. “Our success wouldn’t have been possible without our loyal customers and hard-working staff, so we’d like to take this opportunity to say thank you for their continued support and dedication.

Mike, who also served as chair of the BVRLA Leasing Broker Committee, added: “We are excited to continue serving our customers with the same dedication and commitment that we have demonstrated over the past 25 years. We look forward to the future, and we will continue to innovate and adapt to provide the best possible leasing experience”.

Central Contracts in Stoke

Central Contracts has not moved far from the business park in Stoke-on-Trent where Mike and co-founder Marc Hallsworth started.

The business rented a single unit with three people and within five days of trading had delivered its first vehicle – a Ford Mondeo. It has now moved next door to a purpose built business unit which it owns and now has 34 people working for the business and sells rather more contracts than just that one Mondeo!

John Lewis opens new Central Contracts building

John Lewis, the then chief executive of the BVRLA, opens Central House in 2008, here shaking hands with Mike Lloyd with Marc Hallsworth alongside. At the time, Mike told me: “The move marks a major stride forward for the company, and will give us the opportunity to continue our development.” Well, Central Contracts has certainly done that!
