Central Contracts, an independent contract hire and leasing broker trading as www.LeaseCar.uk, is to make a significant six-figure investment over the next 12 months to integrate Artificial Intelligence (AI) across its core business operations.
This substantial investment, one of the largest single investments in the company’s history, following the development of its digital platform and the purchase of its building, will primarily focus on implementing a new AI-integrated telephone system and deploying AI assistance for various routine tasks.
The move is designed to dramatically enhance the customer experience, bolster operational efficiency, and strengthen due diligence. The new telephone system will employ AI to analyse conversations in real time, providing powerful reporting and identifying training needs.
Critically, the system is designed to automatically detect specific words or phrases that may indicate a customer’s vulnerability, flagging those calls for immediate review to ensure appropriate support and adherence to due diligence protocols.
Gareth Roberts, strategy director at Central Contracts, said: “We are making this significant investment because we believe in securing the future of this business and our employees.
“Our new AI system will not get distracted or fed up; it ensures consistent and detailed communication across all platforms until the customer’s message is received and addressed. This isn’t about replacing people but about giving our teams the tools to be more efficient and focus on complex customer needs.”
The AI deployment also extends to automating crucial, but often neglected, routine tasks, such as routine customer follow-up and ensuring consistent promotion of referral schemes.
The AI system will also ensure consistent and detailed presentations of the benefits of maintenance packages to every customer.
Gareth added: “Automating some processes like thanking customers for reviews or promoting growth campaigns, which salespeople often overlook during busy periods, will ensure we provide regular and consistent communications to our customers.”
The investment demonstrates Central Contracts’ commitment to leveraging cutting-edge technology to maintain high standards of customer service, protect vulnerable customers, and secure a robust operational future.
