FORMER Arval UK executive Chris Oxley has been appointed Sales Director at DreamLease.

Chris joins the growing Buckinghamshire leasing broker with a strong record in automotive finance, having come up through the motor trade via retail sales at Ford before moving into the corporate division at Mercedes-Benz Retail Group. 

At MBRG he was tasked with launching the group’s internal finance department which evolved to include multiple funders, a strong affinity and B2B programme, and a broker channel that accessed the main route to market known as “the matrix.”

Chris led pricing, tactical campaigns, and stock strategies, working closely with key brokers to meet targets for the OEM’s owned retail network integrating multiple funders into his offer.

By the time he left Mercedes at the end of January 2023, more than £1.75 billion in funding had been delivered under his leadership.

Chris then joined Arval as Channel Lead for White Label Programmes, where he drove 150% year-on-year growth in volume and dealer engagement through the Hyundai account, with the help and support of the Hyundai Fleet team. Chris helped scale both Hyundai Contract Hire and high-volume campaign-to-purchase (CTP) programmes, building strong supply and distribution partnerships.

Now at DreamLease, Chris is tasked with strengthening the company’s position in the BCH and PCH retail markets, expanding its fleet proposition including Salary Sacrifice and supporting LCV sales as well as engaging with OEMs and dealers.
