LEASING brokers can now store or reallocate vehicles for their customers through CLM Fleet Management, which has the capability to hold 800 vehicles at its three sites.
CLM has 16,500-square-foot of indoor logistics space and 4.5 acres of land across its two sites in Newport Pagnell and another site in Bedford, which brokers can utilise in various circumstances.
This includes when they have a bulk vehicle purchase and the dealer is not able to store the vehicles, when a fleet customer requires company cars to be professionally inspected, brought up to a required standard and reallocated, and when vans need to be swapped over. CLM also supports clients and leasing companies with the disposal of vehicles through its remarketing team.
CLM has the capability to do vehicle inspections, servicing, livery, fit and remove racking, install telematics, carry out smart repairs and fit tyres at its indoor facility. This speeds up the turnaround of vehicles to get them back out on the road quicker for their clients.
CLM recently helped BP Pulse switch from long-term rental vehicles into a fleet of Volkswagen’s ID. Buzz model and facilitated the handover of more than 160 vehicles for global security company dormakaba. Both handovers were done in their indoor logistics facility, providing a controlled handover that included inspection and stock handover whilst protecting the drivers from the weather.
“We’ve always done storage and reallocation for our corporate customers, and we’re pleased to be able to extend this offering to our broker partners. We can also prepare the vehicle and deliver it to the end user if required. We’ve already helped LCV Group with the storage of vehicles, and we look forward to helping more brokers in the future.”
Andy Short, Chief Commercial Officer, CLM Fleet Management Tweet
The vehicle storage is yet another facility CLM Fleet Management is offering leasing brokers. Most recently it launched Pay-as-you-go maintenance for brokers.
