MANY leasing brokers will already know Jo Davis (above), a specialist in consumer finance and FCA compliance at Locke Lord.
Now Davis, combining with partner Daksha Mistry, has launched a new law firm called Auxillias.
The company aims to provide both legal and compliance services to clients operating in the consumer, motor, asset finance and leasing sectors.
Our vision has been to create a market leading specialist legal and compliance law firm that brings advisory, consultancy, regulatory and training support to clients all under one roof.
Jo Davis, partner, Auxillias
Jo Davis has operated at partner level for a number of law firms. Her expertise ranges from consumer credit advisory and transactional matters, through to financial services regulation and compliance, including compliance with the FCA handbook and Consumer Credit Sourcebook implementation.
Daksha Mistry has more than 20 years’ experience within the banking and financial services, working for a number of major law firms and also as an in-house solicitor at GE Capital. For the last seven years she has been a consultant, supporting a number of high street banks and financial institutions. Mistry added:
“Clients want their advisers to not just give advice but to support them with implementing advice into their operations. We are not just lawyers providing legal, regulatory and compliance support – we also provide day to day advisory, consultancy and training support to our clients in order to provide all-round solutions.”
