CONGRATULATIONS to Amber Thorpe, promoted to Customer Car Team Leader at Northampton-based Silverstone Leasing three years after arriving as an apprentice.

She started as an apprentice in the customer care team in 2023 and went on to win the Special Recognition prize at the inaugural NNBN Awards later that year, after being described as ‘one to watch’ in her industry.

Her role has evolved significantly since then, with a stint in the sales team to broaden her experience. She’s now supporting the Customer Care team and helping to ensure customers receive the best possible service.

“I love being in customer care, helping customers and solving problems, which is something I find very rewarding. It’s a company that encourages growth and gives opportunities, and that’s a big reason why I’ve enjoyed building my career here.”

Amber’s line manager and Silverstone Leasing customer care manager Michelle Williamson added: “Amber has worked her way up from apprentice, consistently showing commitment, skill, and a strong willingness to learn.  She has become a valued and trusted member of the team, and this progression reflects both her hard work and the positive impact she has every day.”
