DAVID Clark is the new Brand Manager LCV of Foton, an LCV manufacturer imported by International Motors.
Foton is a subsidiary of the BAIC Group, a shareholder in Mercedes-Benz Group which also bought the rights to Saab tech from the 9-3 and 9-5. BAIC is state-owned and the sixth largest in China.
Foton will be retailing the combustion-engined Tunland pick-up and Cavan C1 electric van range.
David joins International Motors with experience gained across both sales and aftersales in the automotive and commercial vehicle environments. Most recently he was General Manager for the now defunct Chinese Skywell electric car marque; previous to that he spent nearly 10 years with MG, as well as with electric truck and logistics companies.

The Foton range of Cavan C1 electric vans was first shown in the UK at the Commercial Vehicle Show in spring 2026. There are three models in the range: the C1; extended length C1 Plus; and the extended and high roof C1 Max.
