LEASING broker funder Drivalia has appointed Richard Shortridge as Group Portfolio Manager.

Richard, who previously held roles at Genesis and prior to that was at Mitsubishi for 24 years, is responsible for in-life asset management and remarketing in a brand new role.

Drivalia, which is part of the Credit Agricole Auto Bank Group, entered the market as a funder in February 2023 so currently only has a small volume of vehicles in the UK which are remarketed at open auction sale. However, as numbers increase it is developing new sales channels.

Richard’s role covers remarketing Drivalia’s leased and short-term rental vehicles, as well as PCP and HP vehicles funded through Credit Agricole. He is also responsible for determining whether vehicles which have been early terminated should be used for secondary leasing, such as a used PCP.

Richard says the “scale and potential growth of the business” attracted him to the role, as well as a move away from OEM to working for an all-makes funder.
