THE Sunbury-on-Thames leasing broker, DriveSmart, has launched a brand new Carbon Footprint Calculator.
The latest tool adds to the recently launched salary sacrifice comparitor introduced by the business and allows site visitors to compare side-by-side the annual carbon footprint of petrol, diesel and hybrid cars and vans.
Drivers looking to lease a new car or van can see the impact of engine choice on their annual carbon footprint, which is displayed in annual tonnes of CO2 based on lease mileage profile.
Potential car and van buyers can make a more informed purchasing decision based on the environmental impact of internal combustion engines vs electric vehicles. The Carbon Footprint Calculator even allows users to separate their mileage into the WLTP urban, suburban, rural and motorway mileage cycles to see the impact of different mileage patterns on total annual CO2 output.
