ED Jones is the new Sales Director at Nissan. He replaces Michael Auliar who leaves the company to follow another opportunity at the end of March.
Ed is no stranger to Nissan, having held a number of sales and marketing roles during his first stint at the OEM before becoming Category manager – Electric Vehicles.
He left in September 2017 to join Audi, originally as National Contract Hire & Leasing Manager before becoming Sales Operation Manager in 2019.
“With Nissan’s rich heritage in innovation I am delighted to be joining the brand as it looks ahead to some exciting new technologies and a great choice of electric and electrified vehicles.”

Ed added that he returns to Nissan at an opportune moment as the OEM prepares to launch new electric and e-power models.
“Nissan was the only brand with two models in the top five best-sellers in 2024 and, with increased market share and double-digit sales growth, it’s a brand with real momentum in 2025,” he added. Not to mention the launch of the new British-built Nissan Leaf.
Commenting on the appointment of Ed Jones, Mayra González, Divisional Vice President Marketing and Sales Europe said: “I’m delighted to welcome Ed to our team – his experience and expertise in all areas of UK sales will be invaluable as we look to capitalise on some exciting new product launches.
“Ed will help accelerate our business transformation plans, and lead our sales and dealer teams to continued success in the future.”
