Joining Druce in the Vauxhall management team will be Michael Auliar (pictured left), who takes up the role of Commercial Director at the start of 2026.

Auliar is a vastly experienced automotive executive. He joined Stellantis in April 2025 in a sales and marketing role covering four countries in Europe. Eurig Druce, Group Managing Director, Stellantis UK, said:

“Vauxhall is a British brand with a proud history dating back over 120 years to its roots in 1903. It’s the home brand for the group and, despite an onslaught of new competition, is increasing its market share. I am delighted to welcome Michael Auliar to Vauxhall and, with his strong industry experience, I know that he will continue this trajectory.”

Vauxhall said that former Vauxhall MD Steve Catlin was leaving for personal reasons.
