THE broker/dealer procurement platform provider, Fleet Procure, took a novel approach to its first conference by mixing a bit of business with beer, prosecco, pizza and super tech mini golf.

Held at Puttshack, west London on Monday night (January 20, 2020), the event was hosted by editor of Broker News, Ralph Morton.

Fleet Procure partner relations manager, Arron Mogridge (pictured above), presented an overview of the platform’s progress in 2019 and outlined key updates for 2020.

Mogridge said that 16 broker partners and 67 subscribed dealer partners had between them delivered 3,028 cars and 1295 LCVs to a value of £126.8m during 2019. Meanwhile an important addition had been the tactical campaign facility, which Mogridge marked as a key driver for growth in 2020.

Mogridge added:

“In addition, our ambition for 2020 is to onboard nine more brokers to take our broker partner total to 25 with the aim of delivering 7000 orders. These will be underpinned by tactical campaigns for partners only, linking with manufacturers, funders and dealer partners for unrivalled offers.”

Also presenting at the Fleet Procure Conference was guest speaker Ed Hollands, who explained how his idea to put advertising on lorries received backing from TV’s Dragons Den, and Morton on ‘Expect the Unexpected’ in 2020, a year full of surprises.
