FLEET Procure Live has cemented its place in the leasing broker calendar as an unmissable chance to test drive the latest cars and LCVs plus grab some valuable networking.
The second annual event, held at Donington Park on 21 and 22 May, delivered 2,087 test drives to the 34 participating manufacturers – over double the amount of drives compared to 2024 when 20 OEMs exhibited.
Visitor turnout also showed the first year had been appreciated 604 industry professionals attended over the two days compared to 493 in 2024. The post event feedback survey yielded a 95% positive score from 247 respondents.
Tesla tops the test drive chart
Both days were dry, the first a sunny 22c, the second day a cooler 16c! A park of 164 vehicles were available to drive, of which 82% were pure BEV. The Tesla and BYD stands were the two busiest OEM stands, with the recently heavily updated Tesla Model Y and the ever-popular 3 topping the test drive chart over the two-day event – showing that the brand retains strong interest in the fleet sector. Drives of the BYD Seal were not far behind, reflecting the brand’s rapid growth in the UK, then the EV-of-the-moment, the little Renault 5 E-tech.
Top five driven vehicles FP Live! 2025:
- Tesla Model Y – 94
- Tesla Model 3 – 83
- BYD Seal – 80
- Renault 5 – 77
- Polestar 4 – 66

Kirsten Blackwell, Senior Broker Manager, Tesla UK added: “Fleet Procure helped us showcase our new Model Y as it starts to roll out across the UK. It’s great to see that that the team on site were able to support so many people test driving, and even more exciting that the Model 3 was a close second in most driven cars.”
Malcolm Fryer, Head of Fleet at BYD was equally pleased with its experience of the event:
“We were delighted to attend Fleet Procure Live for the second year running. It is a tremendous opportunity for us to showcase the BYD range and our industry leading technologies to the UK’s leading leasing brokers. We were delighted to see the BYD SEAL as the third most popular car test driven, a reflection of the great value, technology, quality and style found across all the models in our line-up”.
