LEASING brokers delivered 15,297 vehicles through the Fleet Procure broker/dealer vehicle acquisition platform in H1 2024, a 62% year-on-year (YOY) rise on H1 2023’s 9,451 vehicles.

While internal combustion engine (ICE) vehicles made up the majority of orders (56%), almost a third (29%) of sales were battery electric vehicles (BEVs), with hybrid vehicles making up the remaining 15%.

Hyundai Motor UK topped Fleet Procure’s OEM chart with 1,946 sales, followed by Volkswagen (1,689) and Ford (1,324). The latest SMMT sales figures paint a slightly different picture with Volkswagen top, followed by BMW and Audi YTD 2024.

Fleet Procure said that the 62% YOY growth has been primarily driven by its stock management system, Stock Manager, which is used for accessing tactical stock of several partner leasing companies and dealer groups.

Currently, 118 brokers and leasing companies have Stock Manager accounts but an increasing number are opting for full system implementation.

“Our growth trajectory has been phenomenal and will only continue to grow as we onboard further leasing companies and brokers in H2.”
