THE leasing software procurement system, FleetProcure, has added a further customer to its growing user base: Essex-based broker, Planet Leasing.
The end-to-end procurement platform hit a record 50 broker partners at the end of December 2020, but the attractiveness of the system continues to see FleetProcure, run by Lee Jones and Arron Mogridge, attract greater numbers.
Planet Leasing is the latest, the Leigh-on-Sea broker due to go live at the end of January.
Lee had been in to see us in the early days of FleetProcure when we were using the Concilium procurement and CRM platform, but it wasn’t quite what we were looking for at the time. As time has passed we watched the FleetProcure system grow, not only in popularity but in increased functionality, too, which made it an attractive proposition for Team Planet to utilise from 2021. I’ve since recommended the FleetProcure system to another broker based in Kent with whom we collaborate and they are currently in discussions with Lee about signing up to the system.
Gary Rose, director, Planet Leasing
The FleetProcure platform has over 250 subscribing dealers plugging in either their own discount terms on vehicles or utilising FleetProcure’s direct manufacturer terms. Brokers can use this data to configure vehicles, instantly seeing the correct invoice price to enter into any FN50 funder’s system. The platform then acts as a complete end-to-end vehicle ordering and delivery management system. As it’s cloud-based, the system can be accessed anywhere, including a smartphone.
I’m pleased to welcome Planet Leasing to our procurement platform. What has impressed them in particular is the amount of development that has continued between when they first saw FleetProcure and its expanded capabilities now. We have a significant budget to continually invest in the system and new updates are being released most months. We are continually revising our forecasts upwards and now expect to process 25,000 vehicles during 2021.
Lee Jones, managing director, FleetProcure
Jones added that training sessions for Planet Leasing’s staff were commencing to ensure broker staff fully benefited from the system.
Planet Leasing’s Rose continued:
I’m sure FleetProcure will help to further streamline our operation, and introduce us to new suppliers. There are plans to further develop the FleetProcure system which will no doubt add additional value whilst Lee remains very open-minded to recommendations from his many users, which is a refreshing approach. We’re all very much looking forward to getting on board.
