LONG-ESTABLISHED Sussex leasing broker, Four Counties Leasing and Contract Hire, has become a Bridle Group franchisee.
The company, which has been trading for 17 years and is an established LeasePlan Platinum partner, will begin its new franchisee status from 01 July 2020.
Matthew Stannard, co-director of Four Counties, said the agreement would allow them to take advantage of Bridle’s backend support, ranging from the CRM to quicker car quotations with access to a greater range of funders.
“As you can imagine, it took a lot of deliberation with my co-director Tim Sharp to take this decision, but we are so pleased we have. The more we see of the Bridle operation the more we are impressed. The backroom help – from the FCA department to the props department and onto marketing – is immense.
What that means is that we can now spend more time with the customer at the front end, rather than having to worry about all the back end issues.
Stannard said that it was looking to return all staff from furlough by the end of July and was looking to take on a more senior executive to take the total up to 12 employees.
Tano Di Girolamo, franchise director at the Bridle Group, said the group was onboarding six new franchisees every three months having established the franchise programme in March 2020.
“Our franchising programme has been a tremendous success. And when you can attract brokerages with calibre of Four Counties, you begin to realise how good that proposition really is.”
