WEST Midlands based leasing broker Gateway2Lease has made three key sales appointments on the back of a record start to the year.
Its sales and those of its partner, The Electric Car Scheme, collectively rose 40% year-on-year in February.
Gateway2Lease was recently ranked number five in the Broker News BN25 league table of highest-volume UK leasing brokers.
As part of its plans to further grow the fleet and business channel, it has appointed Stuart Conway as Sales Manager, who joins from Radius Vehicle Solutions.
Stuart has a wealth of experience in the fleet sector having helped both Total Motion and Radius Vehicle Solutions to grow their BCH offerings. Prior to that, he held sales roles on the retail side, including at Mercedes-Benz in Loughborough and Evans Halshaw Leicester.
Stuart said: “It’s brilliant to be back at a family-owned business, which has a completely different feel to a corporate. I’m looking forward to using my previous experience across both car and commercial vehicle leasing to grow the SME channel and really strengthen the existing proposition to fleets.
“The focus initially is on building a specialist team around me, closely supporting our existing customers first and then creating new opportunities by working closely with others across the business, particularly with our partnership team, creating a more joined-up approach.”
Joining Stuart in the sales team are Aditya Mankame, Sales Executive, who started his automotive sales career at Evans Halshaw Banbury and Stourbridge before spending the past four years at Listers Volkswagen Worcester, and Hannah Carver, Leasing Specialist, who joins from Listers Group.
Commenting on the new appointments, Kelly Marshall, Managing Director of Gateway2Lease, said: “Our business is enjoying a period of sustained growth and it’s essential that we continue to expand and strengthen our teams to support rising demand for our services, and to set ourselves up for further success.
“We will soon be appointing a sales director to our leadership team who can enable the next stage of our growth.”
