WEST MIDLANDS broker Gateway2Lease has now fully integrated Leaselink into its ordering system.

The broker business – which supplies 4500 vehicles a year – said the Ebbon Automotive system would enable them to automate its business processes and provide more direct communication with supplying vehicle manufacturers.

Earlier this year BMW required that leasing brokers used the Leaselink system as part of its direct sales approach, closely followed by Toyota and Volvo. Polestar began using the system last year.

One of the main manufacturers we work with mandated the use of Leaselink for all new vehicle orders. We then decided to take that a step further and extend it across all makes that we work with, covering all new vehicles.

We wanted to fully capitalise upon its benefits, continuing to automate as much of our business as possible, and fully integrating Leaselink with our back office system gave us the best option to achieve that.

Ebbon said that Gateway2Lease’s IT team had delivered product testing followed by integration in a short space of time with a smooth go-live.

“Leaselink delivers a number of benefits to brokers, including greater visibility of vehicles within the supply pipeline thanks to a direct feed from the OEMs, allowing brokers to provide accurate information to their end customers,” said Claire Hughes, head of commercial partnerships, Ebbon Automotive

Claire added that delivery was paperless since most supplying dealers used Leaselink along with its collection and delivery solution, moDel.

“We are happy to talk to any leasing brokers who want to join the Leaselink community and integrate their back office system in order to benefit from the efficiencies that the system delivers,” she added.

Gateway2Lease is the latest leasing broker to adopt the Leaselink system, which Ebbon said is now in use by more than 100 leasing brokers to electronically handle and process all new vehicle orders and deliveries.
