- Rob Marshall, Operations Director at Gateway2Lease
WEST Midlands based leasing broker Gateway2Lease has become the first broker to offer its customers a fully digital end-to-end process for car leasing.
Customers can configure their lease, complete ID and verification checks, and sign the order online in just five minutes.
PCH customers can now select a new or high-quality used car from a major leasing company on Gateway2Lease.com and receive a real-time price thanks to API integration with the leasing company.
Previously, customers only had the option to enquire via the website. This now allows customers to choose their preferred channel.
Initially, online orders will be based on live, available stock so a customer could have their used car delivered in as little as 10 days or three weeks for a brand new vehicle. For peace of mind, every used car has been through an inspection, has a full service history, and has a 14-day return period.
Customers interested in leasing a used car are able to view a 360-degree interactive image of the car and are given information about any vehicle imperfections prior to placing their order.
“This is an exciting development in our digitisation plans. We recognise that our customers’ needs are changing and this gives them the convenience of ordering a used car online at whatever time of day suits them.”
Kelly Marshall, Managing Director, Gateway2Lease Tweet
“Some customers still want to speak to our team for reassurance, and that option remains central to our approach. This is about choice – combining technology with personal service.”
Rob Marshall, Operations Director at Gateway2Lease, added: “Allowing customers to automatically reserve a new or used vehicle online in just a few clicks, once the checks have been approved, removes any delays and uncertainty from the process.
“This is our first major step towards growing our digital orders. Self-serve won’t be right for everyone so realistically we can see this making up about 30% of our orders in the near future. But as more young tech-savvy drivers start leasing their first cars numbers could grow rapidly – and we’ll be geared up for that growth.”
The new digital process follows a significant design upgrade to Gateway2Lease’s website, which offers enhanced mobile friendliness, and better navigation.
Improvements have been made to the deal configuration page where customers can select the preferred length of their lease and mileage, with the option to complete the new digital order process.
