- Expanded corporate sales team has put the brand in front of over 4,500 potential customers
- Over 650 customers have agreed company car and salary sacrifice policies
- 5-years stress free support includes servicing, discounted charging, road rescue and a Genesis personal assistant
GENESIS is making inroads into the salary sacrifice market, the luxury Korean automotive brand says.
Since Genesis was brought into the Hyundai UK business at the start of 2024, the expanded corporate sales team has leveraged the combined synergies of both Hyundai and Genesis relationships, resulting in the brand being put in front of over 4,500 potential customers.
To date, Genesis says 650 customer agreements have been agreed with both clue-chip companies as well as public sector authorities.
“Genesis has made a good start to the salary sacrifice car market; it’s about getting on to those all-important user-chooser lists with those customers and suppliers that offer such schemes. We have a strong proposition with our models that align with both corporate sustainability goals and the desires of the driver, who want both emission and financial efficiencies as well as slick design and luxury. Add in that employers also benefit from reduced National Insurance contributions, and we have created a win-win situation for all.”
Jonny Miller, Brand Director at Genesis Motor UK Tweet
With the Genesis focus on electrification and a commitment to a more sustainable future, alongside beautiful design, the brand is well-positioned to meet the rising demand for green and tax-efficient motoring Miller added.
Salary sacrifice has seen exceptional growth, the BVRLA reporting a 59% year-on-year uplift in its Leasing Outlook report, while brokers also report an uptick in salary sacrifice interest, thanks to the tax breaks on offer.
