THE upmarket sister brand of Hyundai, named Genesis, will launch in the UK and Europe this summer, announced today (04 May 2021).
Genesis says it will prioritise exceptional customer service over sales thanks to what it calls the ‘Genesis difference’. This will include a Genesis Personal Assistant, recruited from the hospitality and retail sectors, who will manage a customer’s ownership experience. This includes the promise that an owner need never visit a dealer again.
Genesis says it will sell direct to the public online and through what are being called Genesis Studios. The first of these will open in London, Munich and Zurich.
Initial models will be the G80 saloon and GV80 SUV – no powertrains have been specified yet. An electric G80 saloon is also slated for the UK.
