GOFOR has helped global paints and coatings manufacturer Jotun go greener with the launch of an EV salary sacrifice scheme for UK employees.
The new salary sacrifice scheme was showcased to employees at Jotun’s UK headquarters in Scunthorpe, Lincolnshire during a dedicated launch event hosted by the fleet management specialist in March. The day-long event included vehicle demonstrations, employee consultations and guidance on switching to an electric vehicle.
The introduction of salary sacrifice marks the next stage in Jotun’s fleet decarbonisation journey and supports its wider sustainability objectives.
Jotun switched to Gofor as its fleet partner at the start of 2025 with the aim of improving driver support and service levels. The fleet management agreement includes access to Gofor’s driver app, fleet management portal, licence checking services plus short and mid-term vehicle rental.
Since the partnership began last year, Jotun’s average fleet emissions have fallen to 13g CO2 per vehicle, driven by the strong uptake of electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles among its company car drivers.
