SELECT has stepped up to the crease by delivering two new vans to Middlesex Cricket, handing them over at its Lord’s home in north London.
The Volkswagen Transporters were delivered by Select Van Leasing, the commercial arm of Select Car Leasing.
In February Select Car Leasing was named the biggest leasing broker by sales volume at the inaugural BN25 event for 34,195 contract hire sales orders in 2025.
The company then had a hat trick of awards at the 2026 Broker News Awards; Broker of The Year, Best Volume Broker and the Editor’s Award for CEO Mark Tongue.
The Transporters form part of a wider strategic partnership between Middlesex Cricket and Select that has also seen pitch-side branding erected at Lord’s.
The vans will be used to help support Middlesex’s out-of-ground operations and logistics for fixtures played by both its men’s and women’s teams.
The vehicles will also aid in the delivery of enhanced live streams of all of the club’s fixtures.
Jon Fish, Commercial Director at Middlesex Cricket, said: “It has been great working with the team at Select, who have been understanding and supportive of our day-to-day operational needs.”
Sam Bryan, LCV Manager at Select Van Leasing, said: “We’re delighted to have partnered with such an historic club like Middlesex and to see the vans being put to good use at Lord’s – the home of cricket, no less – is incredibly exciting for us.”
“This new strategic partnership strengthens Select’s growing ties with UK sport in general and sees us engaging with cricket for the first time.”

Away from the world of stumps and umpires, Select Car Leasing is the Principal Partner of Reading Football Club, with the Royals playing at the Select Car Leasing stadium.
Select also recently became Principal Partner of Professional Footballers’ Association (PFA) Fans’ Player of the Month awards, while also joining forces with the PFA Scotland – giving members of both unions access to exclusive car leasing deals and special offers.
The company, headquartered in Reading, Berks, has also partnered with Reading Rugby Football Club – an alliance that sees Select enjoying front-of-shirt sponsorship.
