JAECOO was crowned Brand of the Year at the 2026 Carwow Car of the Year awards and currently sells two models in the UK. Its larger model, the JAECOO 7 – launched December 2024 – received the largest volume of enquiries across the Carwow platform in 2025.

Retaining its position in second place from 2024 was the Hyundai Tucson, with a 36% increase in enquiries over the previous year. In third was the Kia Sportage, its second consecutive year in the top three, still one of the best-selling SUVs in the UK.

The top five was rounded off by the BYD Seal U in fourth, with an 804% increase in enquiries year-on-year, and the MG HS in fifth.

The Nissan Qashqai placed sixth, followed by the Tesla Model 3 in seventh and the Volkswagen Tiguan in eighth. Two MG models completed the top 10, with the MG4 and MG ZS in ninth and tenth, respectively.

Will Jackson, Head of Commercial, Carwow, said:  “Carwow enquiry data is a strong indicator of purchase intent and, despite the obvious challenges in the new car market, we continue to deliver significant volumes of high intent to our retail partners, facilitating sales for both new entrants and legacy brands. Our data shows that, while new OEMs continue to build awareness and consumer confidence, many car buyers are still turning to brands they know and trust.”
