LEASING comparison site Leasing.com has partnered with Be.EV, one of the UK’s fastest-growing public EV charging networks, to make the switch to electric easier and more affordable for UK drivers.

Be.EV currently operates a growing network of over 2,500 live charging bays across 680 sites in the UK. It is backed by £110 million from Octopus Energy Generation and a further £55 million from lenders NatWest and KfW IPEX-Bank.

Be.EV is now integrated across Leasing.com’s EV leasing enquiry journey supported by a rolling programme of content designed to explain public charging in simple, practical terms.

Together with Be.EV, Leasing.com says it will help customers find the right EV, and give them clearer guidance on how public charging works, what it costs, and where they can charge day-to-day.

Be.EV offers two subscription options – Mini and Mega – designed to make rapid and ultra-rapid public charging simpler and better value for drivers. Both plans unlock access to Be.EV’s 39p/kWh subscription rate, helping drivers reduce the cost of charging away from home and budget more confidently.

Alongside its subscription pricing, Be.EV also offers the UK’s longest off-peak 39p/kWh pricing from 7pm–7am, giving drivers a bigger window to charge for less at participating sites. As Be.EV continues integrating newly acquired sites into its network, more drivers will be able to access the same straightforward pricing across a growing nationwide footprint.

Be.EV’s subscription model will be integrated into the Leasing.com platform through on-site features, social media content and video reviews. These will show drivers how public charging costs typically compare with charging on Be.EV’s subscription rate, alongside practical guidance on where and how to charge, helping to reduce uncertainty around both cost and charger availability.

“EV demand on our platform continues to rise, but customers want confidence that charging is accessible and fairly priced. Be.EV shares our commitment to making the transition to electric as straightforward as possible. This partnership strengthens the support we can offer to drivers who are considering their first EV or looking to electrify their fleet.”

Asif Ghafoor, CEO of Be.EV, added: “Drivers don’t want to become experts in charging – they just want it to be simple, reliable and fairly priced. Partnering with Leasing.com lets us reach people at the moment they’re choosing their next car and give them confidence about how to make the transition to electric work in day-to-day life.”

Later in the year, Leasing.com will also launch a public charger location map, helping users quickly find their nearest Be.EV charger while on the move.

The partnership is designed to offer added peace of mind on both vehicle leasing and charging costs, supporting everyday drivers, business fleets and salary sacrifice drivers to embrace EV adoption with confidence.

EV leasing enquiries up

The latest data from Leasing.com shows the shift to electric accelerating. In 2025, electric vehicle enquiries rose to 34.1% of all searches on the platform, up from 26.2% the year before. The new Ford Puma came out on top as the most popular EV in 2025 on Leasing.com, closely followed by the newly emerging Polestar 4.

Interest in hybrid vehicles is also surging as drivers take a more gradual route towards electrification. Hybrid enquiries more than doubled year-on-year, rising from 10.7% to 22.8%.

That momentum has only grown in early 2026. In January alone, electric car and van enquiries were 69.5% higher than a year earlier, while hybrid enquiries increased by 75.0% compared with January 2025, underlining just how quickly UK motorists are shifting towards electrified vehicles.
