FLEET EV advisory firm Carvoy has been set up by Leasing.com founder Dave Timmis (pictured above, left), alongside Colin Murdock (centre) and Joseph Sullivan (right), with the aim to help UK businesses and their employees shift to a fully-electric fleet by 2030.

The focus is on not only providing organisations with the best fit for their fleet, but also ensuring that the transition from conventionally powered models to EVs is seamless.

By looking at everything that might impact a switch to electric, Carvoy hopes that it will successfully help the UK fleet market in its transition.

The service includes factoring in obvious considerations such as average mileage and transport needs, as well as other considerations including geography, charging requirements, and environmental impacts, with tailored finance packages for clients.

Offices have already been established in London, Cardiff, and Manchester, with decades of combined experience from the team of directors.

Managing director Joesph Sullivan said: “We are so pleased to be bringing Carvoy to the market, we feel that this is the right time to be bringing this solely EV fleet advisory service to UK businesses – we want to help our customers make a carbon neutral change.

“The long-term economic benefits for companies to move quickly on this is also important to note, as the Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) of EVs is now the equivalent or cheaper than the petrol or diesel equivalents.”

Timmis added that he had been a long-time EV car convert having acquired his first Tesla Model S in 2014.
