LEASYS held its second Broker Business Meeting at Billesley Manor Hotel & Spa in Warwickshire on 03 July 2025.
Led by Leasys UK Managing Director, Shane Coomber (pictured above right), the half day conference outlined the Leasys sales performance in the UK and Europe, and Shane reiterated the determination of the leasing company to hit 1 million vehicles by 2026.
“We are looking to be the number one leasing company in the FN50,” Shane Coomber told the broker delegates. “We’re on the right trajectory.”
Leasys, a joint venture between Stellantis and Crédit Agricole Personal Finance & Mobility, was created from the merger of Leasys and Free2Move Lease two years ago. Coomber said more than 50% of Leasys UK contracts were low emission vehicles.
Brokers deliver on performance
David Robertson, who is currently Sales & Marketing Director, continued the theme of growth, pinpointing the 27% year on year upward trend from the indirect channel with 51 brokers providing 4,100 contracts – up from 2,300 contracts the previous year.
“We’re really pleased with the way our broker partners are performing and we’re looking for further growth from them in the future,” added Robertson.
Among the broker contracts delivered, he said:
- 64% of vans had maintenance contracts
- 70% of cars had maintenance contracts
- 59% of the volume came from Leasys tacticals
- 25% from broker introduced tacticals
- 16% from normal broking business
Improvements to the broker experience
Robertson also outlined technical improvements brokers could expect in H2, including an updated broker portal, an improved ratebook process, multi-vehicle quoting in Genus and a salary sacrifice product expected late summer.
Brokers were also shown new Stellantis products, including a presentation on the new Leapmotor T03 city car and C10 SUV along with a range of vehicles on display.
The brokers present clearly found the presentation worthwhile before moving onto team building games in the afternoon.
Carparison’s Matt Woodward said on LinkedIn:
While Luke Mears of VIP Gateway, along with Phil Slyfield (Balgores) and Harrison Walsh (Leasing Options) tested the spaciousness of the T03 – overseen by Leapmotor boss Damien Dally.
The Leasys Broker Business Meeting ended with drinks on the terrace and an evening dinner.
