LEE Stubbings has joined Planet Leasing and will head up the Planet Leasing Franchise – Cambridge. (He is pictured above on the left being welcomed by Planet Leasing director Gary Rose.)
Many leasing brokers will be highly familiar with Lee from his 28-plus years as a local business development and broker manager at Audi Vindis in Huntingdon, Cambridgeshire.
We’ve known each other since Planet Leasing started back in March 2007 and have always kept in close contact utilising Lee’s services where we were able. We’re really very excited to welcome Lee as part of Team Planet along with his wealth of Audi knowledge and experience that he brings to the table. We now officially have our own ‘Audi in-house’ expert whom the team shall no doubt be tapping into.

Lee has already started trading with two MINIs, a Volkswagen Golf, a Ford Ranger and four commercial vehicles under his belt, while going through the comprehensive training procedures at Planet Leasing, as well as the many funder quoting platforms and the Fleet Procure broker/dealer procurement system.
After 28 years of working at Audi in both retail and as an LBDM and broker manager, it was time for a change in 2023. My life changed in 2019 with the arrival of my son. A dealership life, however, isn’t great for work/life balance! While I’ve never been shy of work and looking after my customers, I now had to consider my son.
I have known Gary and Darren, owners of Planet Leasing, since around 2007. A few years later they asked me to join the Planet team but I reluctantly declined. Recently however they again offered for me to start up as Planet Leasing Cambridge and I am now in the process of doing exactly that. Exciting times ahead for us all in 2024.

The inclusion of the Cambridge franchise is the second recent addition to the Planet Leasing network this year, having taken on Roy Hall in the Isle of Man earlier in May.
