FAST-growing MG Motor UK has appointed Patrick Klaus Beyer as its new head of digital to maintain the brand’s momentum.
Beyer, who joins from Honda where he was in charge of digital marketing across Europe, is responsible for digital marketing across the MG brand. Previous appoints include Jaguar Land Rover and Toyota Motor Europe.
Beyer’s CV also includes extensive EV experience, having worked on electric and hybrid model launches for all three of his previous companies.
SAIC-owned MG, in the forefront of the Chinese EV push into Europe, currently offers six models in the UK including three plug-in cars – the MG ZS EV, all New MG5 EV and MG HS Plug-in Hybrid.
A self-confessed petrolhead, Beyer says that he cannot wait to get started working for MG, which he sees as the most exciting car brand in the market right now.
The MG brand is growing and has huge potential. With good products, amazing EVs, a strong dealer network and an expanding marketing team, it’s a fascinating time to be part of its evolution and help grow the brand in UK.
